Faults & fixes

Error 1: Top laser sensor (LDS) not spinningmedium

Error 1 — LiDAR turret jammed, blocked, or not spinning so the robot cannot map. Cleaning is DIY; a tower that still will not spin after freeing usually needs an LDS module service.

Error 5: Main brush jammed (underside roller)easy

Error 5 — hair or debris wrapping the main brush, ends, or installation slots. Recurring Error 5 after a thorough clean often means a failed brush motor or gearbox.

Error 13 / charging error — will not charge on dockmedium

Error 13 (charging error) or the robot sits on the dock but battery % does not rise. Official steps cover oxidised contacts, dock power, and cable seating before any battery swap.

Dock will not empty the dustbin (full diagnostic)medium

Auto-empty does not start, or starts but leaves dust in the bin / makes unusual noise. Goes beyond app toggles into bag, brush cover, and air-path blockages from the official Ultra manuals.

Dock status light red (tanks / cleaning tank)medium

Dock reports an error / red status — Qrevo-family manuals point to voltage, tank seating, and cleaning-tank / tray-filter installation.

Dock will not wash spinning mop cloths (tray + tanks)medium

Qrevo-style docks will not wash mop cloths unless mopping was used, the dock is on the map, tanks are seated, and the cleaning tank/filter is installed correctly.

Cannot find or climb onto the dock (sensors + clearance)medium

Robot cannot locate or mount the dock. Official guidance: clearance, clean dock signal area and robot front sensor, avoid starting far from a moved dock.

Fan speed lowered / weak suction — filter blockedmedium

Official “fan speed lowered” guidance: check a blocked strainer/filter and replace the filter if cleaning does not restore suction. Wet filters must dry thoroughly before reuse.

Error 18: Vacuum fan errorhard

Error 18 — vacuum fan fault. Official manuals say reset the system after clearing filter/dustbin issues. Recurring Error 18 is not a DIY fan swap for most owners.
