Can I fix this myself?
Usually yes for cleaning/clearing. Difficulty: easy · about 10-20 min. If unsure or the fault returns, use mail-in repair.
What you need
- Soft cloth
- Garden hose
Do this
- Empty and thoroughly rinse the filter box after each task (or every 2–3 cycles; every run in heavy debris).
- Rinse filter with a high-pressure hose against the flow; air-dry. Replace if mesh torn/deformed.
- Use MicroMesh for fine silt/algae; standard basket for heavy leaves. If performance stays poor, request repair.
