Can I fix this myself?
Usually yes for cleaning/clearing. Difficulty: easy · about 10-20 min. If unsure or the fault returns, use mail-in repair.
What you need
- Soft cloth
- Garden hose
Do this
- Set Pool Pulse to ideal: higher flow climbs more; lower flow comes off walls. Point returns downward.
- Ensure hose weight is on the first hose closest to the head; confirm hose length.
- Note: some vinyl pools/safety ledges may not allow wall climbing — normal for those surfaces.
- If still stuck after flow/hose fixes, request repair.
