Charging failure / will not auto-dock

Where to look: Charging pile contacts, adapter, and mapped pile location.

Charging failure, or robot will not auto-return to the charging pile.

Quick answers

What you might notice

  • Charging failure
  • Pile red light
  • Does not auto charge

Do this

    • Confirm robot power/key switch allows charging; check charger/adapter indicator is on.
    • Place pile against a flat wall on dry floor with ~100 cm front / 50 cm side clearance; keep pile in its mapped position.
    • Use only one correct adapter (3.5A/8A/15A per model table). Blue=standby, green=charging/docking, red=abnormal — disconnect if red persists.
    • Wipe pile and robot charge plates with a soft clean cloth (every few weeks on CC1).
    • Enable Auto charging in settings only after the pile location was set during mapping. If still failing, contact Pudu support.
