Can I fix this myself?
Usually yes for cleaning/clearing. Difficulty: easy · about 10-20 min. If unsure or the error returns, use mail-in repair.
What you need
- Soft dry cloth
Do this
- Start cleaning from the station; avoid moving the robot mid-clean.
- Keep ~5 cm clear on each side and 1.5 m in front; keep station powered; dry wet floors/station.
- Clear closed doors / obstacles on the return path.
- Wipe charging contacts and dock black lens with a soft dry cloth.
- If unresolved, contact Xiaomi after-sales / request repair.
